We couldn't resist

Today, my friend and neighbor Susana and I took Savannah and Sophie to The Little Gym. Savannah loved it! So long, Music Class, here we come, Little Gym! We're going to enroll for Fall because we plan to spend every weekend at the pool this Summer practicing our swimming. Afterwards we took "the girls" to the playground and then went back up to the Smyrna Village for The Jonquil Festival. This is where I made the purchase I couldn't resist...Savannah's new pink tutu (thanks for the tip, Crystal!). I ordered one for her about 3 months ago, but it has yet to arrive and seeing as the phone number on the website is now 987-123-4567, I don't think we're ever going to see that tutu. (No, Mom, we were not billed.) Here's Savannah in her new tutu (and the Braves t-shirt Stephen bought her). She refused to look at the camera.
Last weekend Stephen was on a mission...the Barbie Jammin' Jeep Wrangler was the goal. Finally after a trip to Toys R Us, Target and then Toys R Us in Buckhead, he found it and he couldn't resist! Here is Savannah crusin' in her new Jeep (she drives it postman style).

Thanks to the Shaners for allowing Savannah to demo Nicholas's Gator...who could forget those belly laughs?!?!

What'll Ya Have???

Today, not unlike most Saturday mornings, we took a family adventure. Usually if it's nice, we go to Zoo Atlanta. When it's not so nice, we go to Kangazoom or the GA Aquarium. Today, we opted to go see "ish" and "urles" (that's fish and turtles for those of you who don't speak 2-year old). Savannah always has a blast at the aquarium. We've been taking her since she was just 4 months old. Actually Stephen and I were volunteers there while I was pregnant with Savannah so really she's been going all her life! She runs around like she owns the place.

Afterwards, we went to lunch. Today was a special treat...The Varsity! Being a native to Atlanta, I LOVE The Varsity. Savannah is quickly becoming a fan too. She had a naked dog and 1/2 of my orange freeze (so yummy!). Here is Savannah enjoying her...I mean my...orange freeze.

Playground

After Sophie and I played at the park, Mommy took me over to the old children's park in Smyrna...the new one was P-A-C-K-E-D and since Mommy knows I would get trampled, she took me where it was safe and quiet.

I started off on the swings. I always have to swing first...and last.

Then I played in this cool house thing (after Mommy wiped out the inch of pollen that was in it...even after all this rain!).

Hey, Mom! Don't take a picture of my bloomers!!!

Spying on a new friend.

An afternoon at the park

My second entry...I'm not near as good about this as I thought I would be. My friend Susana gave me a hard time yesterday so here I am posting my second blog.

After such a yucky, rainy weekend, Mommy and I needed to get out of the house. We started the day with breakfast with Daddy and Nana at J. Christopher. When we got home, I took Mommy and Nana for a much needed walk. We ran into Sophie and her mommy. I wanted to show Sophie's playroom to Nana...hoping she would help Mommy do something about mine! I just love to play in Sophie's playroom! It was time for Sophie to have lunch. Finally, after a small meltdown, I got in my pink car and drove back home but not before making plans to play at the park later.

After my nap and Mommy's tennis match (she lost, but she's 3-1 for the season!), Sophie and I met in the park. Here are some pictures to document our fantastic day! Do you like my dress? My Mommy made if for me before I was born...how did she know I'd look so cute in it???

My best friend...

Taking time to smell the flowers.

Hopping over the fence.

Sophie's mommy pushed us in the swing...what fun!

Time for a hug
